How to embed Instagram post?

Get Instagram share code

1. On Instagram goto the post you want to embed and open it (you may need to login).
2. Now, click on the ‘three dots’ on the post (top right).
3. Select ‘embed’ from the popup-menu.
4. You will see the option to ‘include caption’. Check or uncheck to include or not include the caption then click Copy embed code to copy it to your clipboard.

Add Code to WordPress

Using WordPress Editor

1. Create new page or post or open existing. If you are editing an existing page that uses the Elementor editor skip these instructions and refer to Elementor steps below.
2. Click the Plus icon on the right side of the editor to select a new block type.
3. Type ‘HTML‘ into the search field then select the HTML block to insert it.
4. Paste the embed code from Instagram into the input box where it says ‘Write HTML…’
5. On the HTML blocks tools you can then click the Preview button to check the embed has worked.
6. Save page as normal.

Using Elementor Editor

1. Create new page or post or open existing one and edit with Elementor
2. Click the Widget Icon to display available widgets.
3. Type HTML into the search box.
4. Drag the HTML widget onto the page to add it to a new section.
5. Paste the embed code from Instagram into the HTML code input box.
6. To preview the code press the preview icon at the bottom of the Elementor sidebar (next to the publish button). This will open the page up in a new tab).
7. Once you are happy with the page save your changes as normal by clicking the publish button.
